Dear board, first of all - thanks for making the time.
A lot is going on behind the scenes these weeks.
We are raising a pre-seed round to fund the next phase of Jared.
With a validated CAC < $2.5 and our biggest update to date around the corner, we’re ready to scale our user base.
And this will require some funds, but also boost the value of Jared rapidly.
We are in this to build the future of business news with millions of active users, and it will require speed.
I’m already in dialogue with a few who have shown interest, but feel free to reach out if it sounds interesting to you or anyone you know.

Our numbers this week
We still don’t run any advertising since we have the big update coming up + some optimizations to our acquisition flow as well (that Frederik has to develop, when he’s done with the product update) - that will lower CAC and improve our advertising efforts.
Naturally a slight decline in users, who are churning.

Open rate’s a bit down this week, but unique click rate at almost 10%, which is pretty good. Both open rate and click rate are very much dependent on the news available to us for recommending from week to week.

Unique open rate | 37.56% | 🔽 05.36% |

All in all, I’m very positive.
