week 30: the deadline

a new plan

Dear board, first of all - thanks for making the time.

We’ve officially set the launch date for our new platform:

September 1st.

The design is locked. Core functionality works. Now it’s about stitching it all together.

I’ve never felt better about our direction, our vision, and what we’re building.

Previously, we’ve focused broadly on business news. We explored many problems for a wide audience.

That’s changed.

We’ve narrowed in. Sharpened the problem. And committed to serving a specific type of reader:

The investor who wants to stay up-to-date on the companies they care about and the drivers behind their value.

That’s who we’re building for, and we’ve been laser-focused on finding ways to utilize AI to empower them.

The platform we’re creating will feel like a cheat code for them.
